Shrimp and Broccoli with Oyster Sauce

Quick and easy shrimp recipe wherein shrimp is stir-fried with broccoli. This is finished by adding oyster sauce for that amazing flavor.

  • 1 lb. shrimp deveined
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds optional

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
  • ½ cup water


  • Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Stir until well blended. Set aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok or pan. Add broccoli. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Remove broccoli from the pan and set aside.
  • Pour remaining oil in the pan. Let it heat-up and then add shrimp. Stir fry until the shrimp turns orange in color.
  • Add the broccoli back into the pan and pour the sauce in. Gently stir. Continue cooking until sauce thickens based on your desired consistency.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  • Transfer to a serving plate. Serve and enjoy.
