Shrimp and Broccoli with Oyster Sauce
Quick and easy shrimp recipe wherein shrimp is stir-fried with broccoli. This is finished by adding oyster sauce for that amazing flavor.

- 1 lb. shrimp deveined
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds optional
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger grated
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
- ½ cup water
Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Stir until well blended. Set aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok or pan. Add broccoli. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Remove broccoli from the pan and set aside.
Pour remaining oil in the pan. Let it heat-up and then add shrimp. Stir fry until the shrimp turns orange in color.
Add the broccoli back into the pan and pour the sauce in. Gently stir. Continue cooking until sauce thickens based on your desired consistency.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Transfer to a serving plate. Serve and enjoy.
