Beef with Broccoli Recipe

  • ½ lb. Beef tenderloin sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 thumb ginger minced

Marinade ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Shaoxing cooking wine
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch


  • Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour marinade over the beef slices. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat half of the oil in a pan. garlic and ginger.
  • Add broccoli florets. Stir fry for 2 minutes. Remove the broccoli from the pan. Set aside.
  • Pour remaining oil. Drain remaining marinade and place in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Stir-fry marinated beef until brown.
  • Add stir-fried broccoli and pour the marinade. Continue to stir-fry until the sauce thickens.
  • Transfer to a serving plate. Serve.
